The top is crack free, with only minor playwear and dings - just the kind of wear that shows the guitar got played. The original firestripe pickguard pops, and really sets off the naturally aging of the nitrocellulose lacquer. The original bridge and ebony nut are present and lacquered over, a hallmark of these guitars. There is evidence of a previous neck reset and refret, with a good neck angle and plenty of saddle height for future adjustments. The low-E string tuner button has been replaced and nicely matched to the originals and is only really visible under a black light.
