There are expected nicks and scratches and one very tight 3 inch crack (not moving) that is on the back near the butt of the guitar. Our luthiers had a close look and it is not a concern. Even the interior is super clean and has the original, small Maple bridge plate as well. This \u003cstrong\u003e1955 Martin 00-18\u003c\/strong\u003e is a truly great guitar with several generations of life yet to go.
