This guitar was briefly produced in the mid 70s and was Fender's foray into the semi-hollow market. This reissue is noticeably improved with a stop bar and tune-matic style bridge and a neck that is just incredibly playable. Nice finish job on the frets too. The Starcaster is a laminate Maple body with an Alder Center Block, Maple neck, and Maple fingerboard. It's loaded with two Fender Wide Range humbuckers giving you great sound and versatility.
