There is a little nail indentation from use behind the first fret above the second string, and a little more fretboard usage behind the second fret. Neither is noticeable to the player or viewer, but merely under close inspection. Maple back and sides paired with a Spruce top and Rosewood fingerboard and bridge make for a rich, classic archtop tone.
