This was made between 1933-35. As the serial number is worn off, it is not possible to pinpoint the exact year. Other than the obvious long top crack that runs under the treble bridge foot (see photos), the other top cracks seem quite minor and are well hidden by the refinish. The pickguard is a very nice reproduction. The tuners look to be late 40s or early 50s. They were most likely installed when the guitar was refurbished. The frets are low and original, and the neck is very straight and properly set. The guitar has excellent action and plays well all the way up the neck. This vintage \u003cstrong\u003eGibson 1930s L4\u003c\/strong\u003e comes with the original 'redline' hard shell case which is still in good condition.
