Featuring the classic spurce over maple tonewood combo for a rich, full, strumming sound that has made this guitar a favorite for vocal accompaniment. An early example from Bozeman, MT Gibson plant, this is a custom shop, custom order build as evidenced by the unique appointments and high-quality woods. The grain on the maple back is so well quarter-sawn, with tight grain, that it almost doesn't look like maple. While the colors in custom shop logo on the back of the headstock has faded over time, it does show up clearly under a blacklight (see photos). Here in very good condition, this guitar shows signs of play wear as well as a small dent next to the bridge on the bass side. Replaced Grover tuners with the originals included in the case. Moderate fretwear.
