Made from Laminate Maple with a cutaway, a 3-piece Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, and adjustable Ebony bridge, it's perfect for jazz and blues (like Howard), but also suitable for other styles. Its single floating Super Humbucker is all you really need to bring it, and it definitely delivers—with this pickup and 2 tone controls, you get an unprecedentedly versatile voice. There is some expected finish checking on the upper treble bout, and finish wear on part of the pickup, from off gassing of the pickguard, and you can see the small holes where it was once attached. Amazingly the tailpiece and chrome on the bridge were not affected and are very clean. The pickguard is included here, tucked safely away in the original hard case, also included. There is some wear on the back of the neck near the 5th and 7th frets, and few play marks (see photos). Nothing structural that impedes its sweet tone and playability.
