With the pre-war Golden Era of guitars in mind, it features the construction, materials, and appointments of the originals. By offering plenty of volume without sacrificing the impeccable tone, it's one of the best-sounding guitars for flatpickers and fingerstyle players alike. The D-18 is a workhorse regardless of the styles of music you play. The top is made from solid Adirondack Spruce with solid Mahogany for the back and sides. It also has a great Modified V neck that's both incredibly comfortable and spacious with its 1 3\/4\" nut width and 2 5\/16\" string spacing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe scalloped X bracing helps provide beautiful resonance, and being ten years old, this guitar has already opened up nicely, so that aged tone is yours right away. Here in Excellent condition, it does have some very minimal wear to it, though most noticeable is a small scuff on the middle of its back (see photo) - but that doesn't affect how amazing it sounds or its playability in the slightest. It also has a beautiful Ebony replacement endpin.
